I have a question, would the guages that are in my '87 Chevy K5 Silverado fit n work in my '87 K5 Custom Deluxe? The Custom Deluxe just has red indicator lights if anything needs attention, but the Silverado guages you can see where the oil pressure & temperature is... :dunno:

There was a post fairly recently about switching an idiot light cluster to a gauge cluster. I'm not sure if there was consensus if the pinouts on the plugs changed or not. You'd obviously need an oil pressure sending unit, and a coolant temperature sender instead of the switches on the motor now.

I'd at least lay the clusters side by side and match up the wires to the various gauges/idiot lights to be on the safe side before I went plugging them into the connector and hoping for the best. The cluster connector is going to fit, it's just a matter of whether every wire is in the necessary spot.

No problem. I have the full set of gauges, the wiring harness and I might have the sensors also laying around somewhere if you need any parts to make this work.
