well im sooo stoked!!!

just paid half of my dana 60 SRW out of a 85 crew....

buying it off a local chevy guy, hes owned the truck for years... but moneys tight and he was willing to sell it to me and only me

paid 1200 cdn, dont know what gears( prob 4:10s) probally open... but its bolt in and needs nothing that he knows( was in his daily driver)

i cant wait for monday next week, going to pick it up!!

Pull the cover and get the numbers off the ring gear. It'll have the ratio and build date stamped on it...

You'll want to make sure the gear lube is good anyways.

oh im pulling it off for sure and im going to start on making a cover out of pipe at work..

didnt know the ring gear would have the date on it but i knew about the gear ratio..
