****Serch done*** with no good results
I know I've read about people gutting the internal parts of a stock k5 prop valve so that they could run a adjustable prop valve. what exactly are you guys removing? All I see in there is a spring in the center, plastic "needle like" piece in the middle, and a piece with o-ring(s) on the large fitting adapter on the end of the housing. I tried to pull out the "needle like" plastic piece but was hesatent when it didn't come out easily.
mods are:
14ff rear discs with 1/2 ton calipers
3/4ton master/booster combo
looking at plumbing the willwood adjustable proportioning valve right by the master cylinder (rear line) but I know this will only work with an empty stocker (basically becomes a dist block instead of a prop valve.)
If someone would chime in please and enlighten me on what parts are removed i would appreciate it.
