Guys with factory K30's.

How many springs in the front spring pack of your K30's?

I never seen a front OEM spring pack in a '73-'87('91) truck, Suburban, Blazer, or Jimmy with more than three. Do they exist?

The three K30 bone stock trucks in the backyard all have only three leaves.

All the K30's I've seen stock (unmolested) had 3 leaf front springs--one 77 K30 Fire Dept. rescue wagon I saw had 5 leafs up front with a Dana 60,but who knows if those came factory,were special order,or done after it was delivered to the dealer?..I imagine they were probably beefed up after it was delivered..

I have seen 5 leaf HD springs listed in catalogs & parts listings ,but they didn't specify if they were "aftermarket" or if GM ever offered them..(these were not in a GM parts catalog)..

TARussell's '83 K30 3+3 DRW had 3.
