Are they worth it? Anyone have them? notice a difference? Sound better? I am going to have dual 2.5" into 3" flowmasters installed on my blazer and was wondering if i should go H pipe also?

hash-pipe? don't use drugs, man. they'll mess you up.:shame:

:haha:

yeah. H-pipes are good to have for pressure equalization between banks. x-pipes are even better.

some people on here don't like them, though.

H and X pipes work best on Winsor Fords because of their fireing order. But they do make Chevys sound a lot better and do add a bit of power. H pipes IMO are best on a truck. They build torque faster. But they should be tuned for your engine. Best way is. Spray paint (use the cheap stuff) the exhast pipes from the header collectors back about 2 to 3 feet. Take your truck out and run it hard. Where the paint burns off the most is where you should place the crossover pipe. Or as close to it as possible.

Thats the way to do it. Anywhere you put should help a bit but the closer you can get to this point the better and xs allow more flow but usually won't work with a transfer case h pipes ususally work way better in a 4wd
