OK I searched and I didnt really find the information that I needed. Is an H pipe really worth it. I have headers supper 44s and they exit out behind each tire. I had a buddy install an H pipe on his car and sounds really good. It seems to sound deeper. I like the deeper sound, and being able to hear the cam. Will the H pipe clean the sound up? I know it has a lot to do with the cam. I dont want it any louder... Has anyone ever installed one on a 4x4. I can't find a place before the muffler that looks like an H pipe would fit. I'm sure it's really not worth the time. I just thought it might sound cool and add a little horse power. It's a 350.

i don't know but i have the same problem and setup i was thinking about an h pipe behind the mufflers maybe someone will have some good info as i don't think it will be as effective behind the mufflers

An h pipe will smooth out the tone and equalize tge exhaust pulses if its in the rigjt spot.
Unfortunatly this spot is a very inconvienent location for a truck. Look at some pics of em installed on cars and yoy will see.

I was tild a good way to see were the crossover needed to be was to spray some paint on the exhaust, then run it for a while till the paint cooked off and the ppipe needed to go right before were the paint was left on
