Picked up a set of h1 tires today, going back next week to pick up 5 h1 wheels with the mag beadlocks. My question is, two of the tires came with the 2 piece rubber beadlocks still inside the tire. What is the best way to get these out without cutting them....(I might need them one day).

Thanks, Ive got to get my axles ready first. Ill grab those PVC inserts, they do look like the best option.

Even the PVCs are a big pain to get in and out of the tires. Getting them in requires lube, a grown man jumping on them as hard as he can and a large prybar. From what I understand, the rubber runflats are much harder. There is a strong ratchet strap required to pull it into an oval.

Mag runflats are alot easier than the 1 piece rubber I have been around. I cut mine down to just inserts by taking a BFH and beating out all the ribbing, then sawzal to cut rest of ribs off, then flapper wheel to smooth down. I also cut 1/4" off the width to deal with my thicker tire bead.

Thanks for all the input. After spending less than 30 min on trying to get the first one out with no sucess.......I broke out the sawzall. For the sake of saving money where I can, i am going to run the mag beadlocks and cut then down smooth.
