how much should one expect to pay for some recentered h1 beadlocks? no tires just rims. and how do these type of beadlocks work?

Price will vary. Are they 12 bolt or 8 bolt? Are the centers pressed or flat? Are the locks stock or aftermarket? How well they work, well the Bronco I ran last weekend has been running them for 4 years now with no real issues. I cut a 42 on one and drove out of Rausch Creek towing a broken Jeep with no problem and didn't lose a bead. I even finished the extraction on the flat before towing him out. The only issue with them is the weight.
