H1 rim runners a question

getting some soon and was thinging about the run flat.

can/have you driven on it for a long time? or is it just to be used in emergency situations like some one shooting at you?


say last year when i blew a tire in MI and drove home on my ****ty spare, 300 mi lets say could i have done that with the flat tire on the mag runflats with out wrecking the tire, the runflat, or haveing poor control??

No it would destroy the tire....

yeah, i would have to agree, it would destroy the tire, the runflat is magnesium so it would be metal on rubber, no good.

The run flat is made so if you have a flat you can get off the road safely w/ out loosing control when travling at high rate of speed. You can drive on it for a short distance but 300 miles might be pushing it.

alright cool, so its not like i dont need a spare then?

Accuatly, its made so you don't have to change a tire in combat. You still need a spare. If you have CTIS and the hole is small you would likely be ok.
