I did some searching for the weight of H1 rims with mag runflats and could not find any difinitive answers and most of the weights I did find were for 12 bolt with rubber runflats or aftermarket runflats. It seems that most were coming in around 55 pounds for rim and runflat.

So I came home and did some weighing of my own on my bathroom scale:D.

A stock 8 bolt H1 mounted on a 36X12.5X16.5 RTII OZ came in right at 118 pounds. I unmounted everything and took individual weights, the rim shell came in at 35 pounds and the runflat was right around 2 pounds. Cutting the runflat down should get it close to 1 pound which should (in theory) put the whole unit at 36 pounds plus the tire of your choice.

I find these weights more believable than the 50 to 60 pounds I was finding for the other rims but then again the rubber runflat is right at 30 pounds according to the military labels on them and the 12 bolt shells are slightly thicker.

Hope this info helps some others out. Also these numbers are not exact but should be within a pound or two as it was down on a high tech bathroom scale:D

Good info! :thumb: Like you, I've always read the 50~55# weights on boards. From carrying them around I thought they were less but would not have guessed that much less.

Personally the rims shells do not feel any heavier than my 15X8 steelies that I currently have on my rig.

I could see the ~60 pounds with the rubber RF and the heavier duty rim.

I was really surprised how the mag RF weighs almost nothing in stock form.

The Hutchinson double beadlock rims I got today weighed around 52 lbs. in the box. I didn't think these rims would weigh more than the H1's.

I might take one to work and put it on the medical scale to get an accurate weight of both the rim shell and the RF.

What kind of Huthcinsons did you get? Are they the aluminum ones with like 12 or 16 studs around the rim edge? Also what is the beadlock section made out of rubber or magnesium/aluminum?

I weighed the runflats today at work on the medical scale and I was way off.

A cut down mag runflat weighs in at 7.75 pounds. So a safe ASSumption for a complete runflat would be ~15 pounds. This would put the unmodified assembly right at 50#. Which is right along with everything else that has been posted.

My rims should be ~43 pounds with out rubber and around 135-150 depending on tire choice.
