I might be scoring a set of 8 lug SRW D44/14BFF. I have H1 wheels with 37s to go on them. Been tryin to search but not finding answer I need.
With the Dually spacers 90s model trucks, how far will it push out the wheels? Does anyone here have that same setup with pics?
I’m assuming 2001-2010 spacers should work too? Isn’t it the same bolt pattern??
Also, this may be a dumb question, but can you use the dually spacers for the rear also? So it has the same spacing front/rear? Hopin I can score a cheap set from local junkyard but asking first before I start buying crap.

7" b/s on h1 rims .

reg wheels 4"-4.5" b/s range .

drw hubs on dana 60 = +4" stick out over srw face .

drw adaptors might just work on front but there metric thread studs / nuts to hold them on .

and wont clear the hub / axle flange of the 14ff with 88-up adaptors .

most guys run 3" spacers .

i have a set of 88-up drw adapters in the sale section . https://ck5.com/forums/threads/88-up-drw-adaptors.304490/

I had to have my machinist buddy make me some spacers. None of the factory dually spacers will clear the 14bolt hubs.

Ok. Then makes sense why I haven’t found any info on that. Lol. Thanks!!
I would like some spacers. But I’m buyin these axles from a junk yard here. I’m gonna see if I can find a set of spacers there and see if he will include them in the deal. If not, I’ll hit u up for those!!

like my ad says price or best offer .

no problem on the spacers local if you can get them .

there a 14x1.50 thread for the studs on both the spacer and orignal vehicle srw setup they bolt to . so the nuts for them to bolt on the srw hubs are the 14x1.50 thread . thats why you would need 9/16 for our older stuff .

as for rear most guys run a 3"-4" spacer on each side . i have a axle that had a set of ebay 3" spacers on for 10 years no problems . so dont be afraid of them . guy over on 67-72 site just wacked a curb so hard with his 2wd and ebay spacers on it bent the trucks frame and no damage to the spacers .

see if your local yard has any full size vans up to last year 1995 . the 1tons got a van width 14ff thats 70" wide over the trucks 67" wide hub to hub . but this swap would require welding of shock and leaf pads . and if you have a dana 60 srw there 69" wide hub to hub . some guys go for the drw pickups with the box and fender flares rear dana 70hd axle then swap on srw hubs and get the widest possible combo with no spacers .

Appreciate all your help!
But the other question I had was the 2001 and up dually spacers. Would those work as well? Just wondered since it was same bolt pattern.

look at the “how will my truck look with xx lift”, ive got a recent pic of my old k5 with drw 60, drw 70hd w/ srw hub swap, and H1’s. Stance was perfect

Once upon a time, there was a guy here with a truck that had unmodified H1 wheels on 1 tons with 2" spacers front & rear. The truck looked good but I always thought the front hubs stuck out too far.

IMO (maybe im biased), but stock H1’s really do need dually axles to sit right, otherwise they are just tucked in too far. Even with 2” spacers per side, that only gets you to ~73.5” up front (even less in the rear, unless van width) vs 77.5” with the dually. With any sort of wheeling, the tires will just chew up whatever inner fender and body is there. Plus the added width would give better stability.

You can pull off stock H2’s, with 5.5” BS, but thats a totally different discussion.

well even from 7" backspace down to 5" backspace with bolt on 2" spacers gets you real good . the hummer h2 aluminum 17" rims are 5" backspace if i recall correctly .

I would love dually axles. But hard to find around here,...and if you do, people want gold for them. I’m goin tomorrow to pull the axles off the truck I’ll prob give 300 for the set. Compared to 1000-1500 people want for a set of D60/14. With my luck, I’ll buy these axles and get em rebuilt, then I’ll bet money I’ll come across a set of DRW axles at a good price. Just how it works.

That what happened to me, originally built 8 lug 10 bolt only to sell them and go 1 ton. Part of the addiction.

I called it!!! I went this morning to pull the D44 off the parts truck at the junk yard . And sure enough he had just got a 1 ton with D60/14FF. Dammit. I think I’m gonna work out a deal for the entire truck. Hahaha. I will then have a spare set of 8 lugs.

once you go 60 front and 14ff rear there is basicly no spare needed for the most part .

what kind of 1ton k30 ? srw or drw ? if drw c&C narrow or wide pickup box style ?

and if you cant get the whole truck but can get the 60 dont forget the spring plates the sway bar bolts to . there bigger for the 60 .

It’s a single cab long bed. I think TBI. He didn’t know any history on it. Hoping it’s 4:56 gears at least. He’s interested in trading for some stuff. Hopin I can swing it.

if its a 4.56 truck it will be a rare one . most were 4.10 or later to the end some got 3.73 . rare to find 4.56 as most of them went military trucks .

but good luck . good trans / tcase combo ?
