sandawgk5 said:If you run a DRW 60 no spacers are required. For a 14FF you need to run something to avoid the staggered look of the tires. If you can find a DRW wide 14FF then you can run H1s with no spacers and it will look stock. The same is true with a DRW Dana 70. You can also take SRW hubs and put them on a 70 or 14FF and have a rear that is as wide as the front but you would have to run custom disc brakes.
Oh and I cannot get the rims now so go ahead. Dont know when I will have the cash now.

anyone else got em, 8 or 12b style?still waiting.....mkmiller said:I've got a set of humvee wheels, they are the 8 bolt style. I'd take $20 a piece for them plus shipping. Shipping will probably be about the same, but send me a zip and I'll get an exact quote for you if you're interested.
Thanks,
Matthew

Converting a DRW axle to disc takes a little more than you standard garden variety SRW disc conversion. A new caliper bracket mount needs to be welded to the axle or a weldon bracket needs to be used. There is a post on here aboot converting a Dana 70 DRW to disc. It has to do with the width of the drum and WMS compared to where the backing plate actually attaches to the axle.JC_ said:Where would one get "custom disc brakes'? Or are they truely custom?
I have a M1008 that I am robbing the 14FF off of and putting under a K5. Adding disc brakes are part of the overall plan. I recently decided to pick up the Humvee wheels under it - found a set locally and am trying to figure it all out.
