You talking the actual inner beadlock probably?? I don't think Dean is making a "Run flat."

The deen read rebar stuff I have seen is just a rock ring to protect the outer bead. If that is what you are after DIY4X has a much nicer piece that does the same.

Stazworks also sells nice stuff, I don't know if he is still making h-1 centers though. USA6x6 is the only company making pressed centers, which are the way to go, but you are on your own dealing w/ them. They seem to have gotten better, but who knows?

Read up more before you do anything. Do a search for H1 on this forum. It will reveal all you need to know. You most likely don't need runflats for your beadlocks:D

I'd love to hear this one:confused:

I used to run a set of Dean Read recentered hummer rims and they were ok but not true enough to run on the street as a daily driver. I also ran his inner beadlocks and not to be mean but they sucked. I ran his first generation ones and they came apart inside the rims a couple of times and were ruined. He then sent me his new design free of charge:D which were a lot better but still not that easy to deal with and one came broken. Dean is a really nice guy but he even admitted to me that he makes most of his rims and inners for mud boggers. They just usually weld the inners together making them one piece once they are in the rim and you would half to cut the welds off to get them out.

I took a chance and ordered from USA 6x6 about a month ago. I made sure that they had them in stock before I ordered and I got mine in about 5 days. Just make sure they have them in stock and follow up after a couple of days for the tracking number.

I have some ideas brewing for an insert kinda like Dean's except without the stupid keys to hold them together. Should be implemented in a month or two. :D

I'm running USA6x6 centers and ultra-light inserts on my 12 bolt H1's, if I ever have to do it again I will repeat my business with them.

Inserts and runflats are two different things. Dean Read makes inserts. :D The Military has runflats.

Nerrar117 needs some edge-ju-makation on what he wants and the proper nomenclature. Since he's a member a search should get him up to speed faster than this thread:wink1:

were the ultra lite har to get in and they are pretty strong?

I've heard good things about the Ultra Lite Inserts. I think there is a pic on 6X6's site of a guy standing on one. To make them easier to use somebody cut their's in half. They didn't use a straight line though but came up with an interlocking pattern. Don't have a link and a pic would be far better than my description.

Yet your comment with out the later explanation didn't make much sense. When talking about H1s people use runflat and beadlock interchangably. Its not proper but neither is calling the internal combustion engine in your truck a motor.

Search pirate for the jigsaw cut PVC beadlocks. I know the pics are on there.

i have searched plenty of times. jut want more opinions. yea i have seen that insert over at pirate.

I have 4 of the old PVC inserts and one new insert. The new one went in very easily, but I've heard of them breaking. Mine is on my spare. I'm not looking forward to the day I have to take the PVC inserts out, they are thick and stiff, but I'm not worried about them breaking.

If I had to buy some, I would get the mag. runflats and cut them down, easy to install 2 piece design, and easy to remove.

Here's a pic...
