I have a buddy who has a set of H2 rims with 31570r17 BFG AT mounted and 80% tread life. I can get them for about 500 bucks. I was originally going with mickey Thompson classic IIs with Humvee tires.

This is for my k30 cc and Im not sure of the weight rating on the h2 rims, also what kind of ride will I get from the Humvee tires (37/1250/16.5) Im gonna run the 16.5 on my blazer (I think) for offroad with the h1 rims re-centered.

Should I keep all the tires the same, or would the H2 rims and BFG better for a tow rig? The cc will be running a 4" lift, 3157017 are about 34 inch tire, and as I recall the 37 Humvee tires actually measure closer to 35".

H2s and E rated tires all the way. The H2s may have even come with E rated tires stock.

I'm likely going with H2 wheels next. It seems like choice in 16.5" rims in the 33-35" tall tire size is limited and now that BFG stopped making them my favorite mild mud tire is gone.

Mickey Thompson CIIs are available in 16.5? Going 16.5 is a tough choice since the tire selection is so limited. The biggest reason is to get double beadlocks. However, you have to get H1 wheels recentered or run spacers or get dually axles use H1 wheels. Cheap H1 tires are alluring, but may not be around forever.

17" wheels are a much smaller commitment because you can swap to different tires or wheels whenever you want, no mods are required and it's easy to sell off your old stuff.

Go with the H2s for sure. Plenty strong and a much better tire selection.

I went through the same choice for my two rig. Cummins Dodge. Went with the H2s and havent looked back.
