I removed the Euro Halogen lamps from my '87 Sub b4 I sold it and froget to record the wiring difference.

One has to remove the connectors and change their position in the plastic plug. My bad.

Anyone know the correct position?

In other words, the sealed beam haedlamps, and the Euro lamps with removable bulbs use diff wire positions. Don't do it, and you'll blind oncoming...

Not sure I understand your question...

I bought the H4 Euro headlights for my K10. Instalation was taking the old ones out and putting the new headlights in. There was no switching and swapping of wires.

i think i get what your saying. the truck your puttin them on has the sealed headlamps? so you wanna put those headlamps in your new truck

Yup, I swapped the small square ones (H4) into my Mom's '79 Grand Prix, in '79, and was blinding oncoming. the wiring IS different! I had the correct sequence in my 'Burb, but forgot to make a note... Maybe somebody has a wiring instruction sheet? I'm POSITIVE there's a difference.

Here's the stock junk plug on my Blazer...

when I did my h4 conversion I didnt have to switch any wires. Blinding oncoming isnt fixed by switching wires, all that would do is make it where your high beams wouldnt be on or something to that effect. Light control is handled by the reflector and aim

hey uglytruck im just tryin to help your problem here if you switched the whole assembly then some people change the bulbs themselves this happened to me so some are different bulbs

What's happening is the low beam wire is lighting the high beam filament... So you're on high beam when you think you're on low beam...

The Large and Small headlamps use different wiring, so you have to remove the wires and switch them. That's were I'm at...
