Had to change the mufflers today.

The stock 2" inlet 1-1/2" outlet baffels just werent cutting it. So upon going to checkers this morning to pick up a heavy duty battery terminal I picked up 2 - Flotech Raptor Turbo Performance mufflers, for 19 bucks a piece. So I got home and slaped them on and was fairly impressed, they give a really deep rumble to my 350 and arent to loud, well mabey just a little louder than i would want on the trail during
a lead foot situation /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif but acceptable .

Just thought Id let ya all know incase you want a cheap soultion to your muffler woes..........

I have heard about those mufflers and sound like a good deal.
The Summit turbos are about the same price and are another good choice.

would they carry that at like a advance auto or somethin? we dont have a checkers here....ive been looking for some cheap turbo mufflers or something with a better tone and louder than the oem ones i had to put on it..i got dynomax mufflers but they are 2.5 not 2.25 and i dont like using adapters..

You might be able to get them pretty cheap through www.partsamerica.com which is basically checker online.

I don't know. I know they are the online arm of CSK auto which runs Checker, Schucks, and Kragen. They bought Big Wheel/Rossi a couple of years ago but that's the extent of my knowledge.
