Didn't want to buy one.
So this was made to fit multiple cars and different configurations. Can also add things later on.

Here is a name brand one

Because many of the FWD vehicles requires sub frame/cradle removal to.remove transmissions to do clutches, or replace trans.

I used to.used a few blocks of wood and random chain or motorcycle straps

So it supports to the body and hangs the drivetrain while you remove the subframe from below?

I'm confused.
 
Front wheel drives are a pita! I had to do a clutch in an older grand am and I thought that job would never end. Never again! Nice work on the cradle though, i had to barrow one on that grand am.
 
Thanks guys. I actually made a FWD trans support fixture also. It will.serve as a transmission fixture to mount to my trans jack, and I can add supports to hold lower sub frames and fuel tanks and other large objects.

It's a bit more primitive than my engine support
