I remember one company sold a half door kit with soft windows but for the life of me I can't remember who. I'd like to do this but not sure about soft windows in PA winter, see plenty of Jeepers do it though.

Steve Frisbie would build you anything you want. Just email or call him. He's busy at the moment building a house, but should be back on track real soon. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Here is what the door would look like, he sends you the template and then a bunch of stuff to finish the inside of the door as well as zip up windows

I am not sure of the company name right now either, however, there is a company which is working on a half door for the 73 thru 91 Blazer which would use factory styled hinges and is supposed to be easy to swap back and forth. From what I was reading about them they were supposed to take about 15 minutes to swap the door out and put the 1/2 on or put the full back on. I will do some more checking on the company, it was projected to hit market in late Dec. or early Jan.

I'll get back to you on it.

Yeah I contact MO, they said they weren't selling them cause well they weren't selling, but that a revamped kit may come back sometime in the not too distant future. So we shall see.

theres a guy over at POR whos pondering putting some chevy half doors on the market... no idea what the status of em is. I recommended that he make a nice set for himself and then post pics here to guage interest. Not sure what happened after that...

I'm thinking simply, hack the door off right above the door handle, made a tube bar for a door bar, and put snaps or something on it. It could be done but that would be like a 3/4 door ha.

I saw some on an s-10 Blazer the guy had made himself. It lookied pretty easy just need a sawzaw and some sheet tin to rivet in place. I plan to make some when I find some new doors but that will be a while.
