half doors

there is an article in a petersons mag of a k5 it is on the cover too it is called fluorescent [spelling] camo it is camo with fuorescent green accents. anyways it has half doors that i think are really cool . any one know any more about them ? he used some sort of toggle switch to open them on top of the door cause the door handles are removed. any info or your design? it was a old mag. thanks

The "toggle switch" is just part of the lock mechanism that unlatches the door. Nothing special with half doors, just cut down a regular door...
