half doors

just wondering if anyone cut their factory doors to make half doors out of them. just trying go the cheep easy route and want some protection i dont just want to take them off.

LOL I know what your talking about on the sheet metal. I have one door that met my sledgehammer in my fit of disgust with my horrible welding job. I onder if I can still fix the door???

yeah that looks kinda what i was thinking, i might cut more up towards the hinges cause i really dont care about my mirrors. its a trail rig only. do either of your door handles work?

Here are mine, welding the sheet metal takes some time and might not look very pretty at first. I just welded mine shut but you can get handles to work without too much trouble

Yep, I did up pull latches on the inside (there wasn't room for the original handles on the outside.)
