Halfmoon Creek Colorado - Trip Report

Went camping this last weekend up at Halfmoon creek. Took the trail up to Champion Mill but didn't have time to tackle the North side. I need to swap the carb out to something that isn't so incline sensitive. Here's a few pics, sorry if some of them are at weird angles. They were taken on the fly. I've made all the pics clickable thumbnails to be more easily read.

Haven't heard of Halfmoon Creek before, where is that at?

Halfmoon Creek is near Leadville, CO. If you want the exact start of the offroad trail, it's at 39.15158, -106.41992 but the campground is a little before that.

Thanks for posting the trail info. After seeing it my gf and i took a road trip to leadville, took my K5 up the trail to Champion Mill. It was amazing!
