I'll have 2m, 70cm, HF, my race radio and everything inbetween with me. Get me up on a ridge where I can set up my HF antenna and I'll be able to talk with China if you want :waytogo:

Anyone else going who will have a HAM radio or a race radio? I think it would be a good idea to get a couple of folks licenced up and have at least one operator with each group that is running. No more depending on crappy cell service or poor ranging CB radios to call for help, parts or status reports.

I can bring a few extra HAM radios and race radios to lend out if anyone wants!

I'm sure we'll have all of our radios on hand, three truck units and one hand held

r3ddOg has a handheld and will be with me as the tail gunner on Golden Spike, I'm planning on the big radios being the lifeline on that run. CB for in group coms and the big radio for getting out to other groups if need be.

Hi,
I'll have my systems with me. I would like to see your installation of the radios. I have my mobiles installed, but I want to install a set-up for the hand-held radios. Hopefully you can give me some ideas.
