Is anyone using a hamburger oil pan on their truck? Also, if it doesn't come with a pickup, will any pickup for a 7 inch sump pan work or do I need the one hamburger makes?

I have never used one on a street car (or truck), but I have bolted them onto Top Fuel and Top Alchohol funny cars about 100 times, and I can say with confidence, they are a high quality oil pan.

I personally have never used one but I can say that I know alot of poeple running them. They all like them

Dude, I thought you meant you squashed the hell out of your oil pan. I've never heard of a hamburger pan before. :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

My crew member days are long over. That is for young guys, with no family. Some people think that being a crew member on a Top Fuel car is glamourus and fun, but it is not. It is the hardest damn job anyone could ever do. I would get out of bed at 7 AM in the moring, be at the track by 9 AM, and be on my feet until at least 11 PM (sometimes 1 or 2 AM) for 3 to 4 days a week. The rest of the time I would be traveling. I was offered a job as a crew member on a pro class car a couple of times in the last few years, which toured the NHRA circuit, and I said, "NO"!

I would consider taking a job in the home base shop, where I did not have to travel, but the minute a traveling crew member droped out (they always do), they would be asking me to go, and if I said "no thanks", there would probably be some hard feelings about it.

Hot oil in the face....yum yum
There's a champ car shop by me, we've talked. It looks like a lot more work than I want to do at this point in my life, one of which is to have a life outside of work.:wink1:
