Ok so I just bought some 2 inch add a leaves for the front and rear of my k5. This will put me at 6 inches of lift.

Now my gf is gonna have a hard time getting in. Anybody got pics of handles installed maybe on the a pillar on the passenger side? Got any other ideas?

I always figured a rope ladder attached to the seat post(s) would be pretty handy, without having to add something permanent inside.

I saw a pic in the photo gallery once, of a strup (sp?) off a horse saddle on a strap that was bolted to the floor. It looked like a nice setup. But of course I cant find the pic now.

I don't think that the add-a-leaves will raise your truck 2 inches. They're made to lift the stock springs 2 inches. Your current 4-inch lift should already have more curve than the add-a-leaves.

But I have seen handles bolted to the sides of trucks before. They were pretty popular back in the 80's, but I don't see them much any more.

Get the big ones if you have padding on your roll cage.

AT my local autoparts store they sell the old chrome handels like the ones on Chevy305s truck for 20 bucks a pair.

If you would like I could get you a set and ship them out to you on youe cost.
