stock shackle adn hanger...i just cut the bottom out and welded in braces...works for me..well actually HAVe no clue how it will work yet lol

What did you use for the braces? I like the way it looks. I need to do something similar as I'll be using the front rear hangers.broncoman6524 said:

those welds look like duck soup. 
and if you do the home made flip like that watch out for the shackle angle. lots of times it stays stright up and down. so thay ride like a rock.

doesn't look like the shackle can swing at all. the welds look like caulk. you could probably knock the braces off with a hammer.
if you are using a front hanger for your flip it is already braced enough. mounting it to the frame is what you need to focus on.
