It's time to put the blazer into storage again... :frown1:
Anybody else that puts their rides away for winter get the same melancholy feeling?

Not even going to put the top back on this time, just the cover.

Still need to wash/vacuum/clean it, waiting for the weather to break.
Currently had a total of 8" of snow over the last few days. :eek1:

Getting it all cleaned up before storage makes it all that much sweeter come spring, it's like unveiling a brandy new truck when the cover comes off. :p:

huh? now is the time i can actually go out and play. over the next 4 months its gonna be a blast :D

We West coasters are not subject to the same weather issues you have in the East. Well Unless you live in the higher elevations but places like the central valley rain & colder days are really the only weather we have to deal with....

dammit man! everytime i see that blazer it makes me want to get another one just to build it as a cherry driver (no tree tagging & rock smashing).

About the only thing i'm sad about is that i retired my k5 from daily driver duties a little over a month ago.
Picked up a '72 datsun 1600 pickup for $700 that gets 2 or 3 times the gas mileage. The little POS paid for itself the very next day when i scored a HP D60.
I'm gonna miss that k5 hard top leaking on me while i drive to school and work. Get to work and it looks like i pissed myself.
"no its just my truck that leaks."
My bank account is happier though.
Winter= blazer buildup & mudding season.

This one has zero rust and I am doing my best to keep it that way. :D

Thats what I thought :D

I don't blame you at all. At least you do have another one to scoot around in

I've got my driver, I was drooling watching the vids Greg has of you in Cali having a blast on the trails with your K5!

My 72 C20 is put away for the winter, Washed and Mothballed to the tilt.

Well it's done... :( Put away for another year.

Washed it, vacuumed it out and pulled on the cover.
Gas stabilizer in a full tank, battery is disconnected and dryer sheets laid all around the floor.

It feels like I'm sending it into exile or some thing... :dunno:
