hard a** gas pedal

is there any kind of after market replacement for the hard a** 77 k10 throttle cable

mine is a pain i can not even turn around in my yard with out making my boggers tear up the grass cause the gas pedal is so hard to mash

Did you try putting a smaller return spring on it?? That or maybe it's getting bound up on something?? I had this happen once on my old truck but think i just found another truck and grabbed the cable off of it

Before you go swapping in a new cable, try shooting some PB Blaster or WD40 down the throttle cable casing. Mine started to get tight, and a little lubrication was all it took to loosen the sucker up.

yea ill try lubing it up, i only have one light to med strength spring on it so i think thats not the problem

I also lubed the plastic block on the inside of the firewall that the pedal rod pivots on, it helped too.
