The line is 3/16

For a 4-5 foot section it is only a few bucks, they have them in sections as small as 6 inches and up. Take yours off, get one to size and bend it with your thumb with your hand in a fist position. Really easy to do.

Good luck!

o yea i got the hard line in a 5ft section but the end fittings are rounded those are what i need to find. do you know where i can get the end fittings??

Your local auto parts store carries just the fittings as well. They usually keep them behind the counter and you just have to ask for them.

Indeed.. now lets just hope you have a parts store with a brain!

I drive past 3 closers stores often just to go to the one with a good staff on hand.

those fittings dont just pop off.you will need a flaring tool to replace just the end.ive never done it though.it was always easier to buy a new one and replace the whole thing.

The parts store lines I always find are already flared and have fittings on them. You just need to fund one that has a close enough length, or just cut it down and re flare it.

now that you mention it i did buy one a few years back and it was flared already.

Like already said, you can buy varying lengths with fittings and flares at places like NAPA. Fastenal in my area also carries them. Oreillys also carries fittings, but good luck getting the staff to find them, my experience is that they don't even know what they are. I buy my fittings at NAPA because the staff there usually knows what I'm talking about.

If you want to start doing your own lines, buy a good quality hand tool. I bought an OTC tool at Summit years ago so that I could fix them on the trail easily. Ive done all my own since then, it's easier than making a trip to the store since I keep extra line in the truck anyway.
