My 97 Yukon has recently started to struggle when I start it. I put new Delco plugs, wires, cap and button in about 5,000 miles ago. It runs fine after it gets going, but for the first second or two it stumbles hard. It doesn't do it every time, but it's starting to piss me off. Ideas?

Does it ever stall? My 94 Grand Cherokee did the same thing. Turned out to be the fuel pump. When it would cycle for 2 seconds before starting...it would lose it's prime. Didn't do it every time about once every 2 days. Then one day it quit working all together.

i wouldnt jump at it, but i second the fuel pump, ill put it like this gm trucks call for 2~3 hours to change, i can usually change it in under 30min, fuel pumps are a problem for gm, but like i said they're expensive, and a pain to change for ppl who dont do it all the time, id change out my fuel filter first cheap and should be done anyways, u got nothing to lose, but besides that hook a gauge up and see how much pressure u have on start up u should have at least 65

That makes sense. It's already eaten one fuel pump.
