Hard top interior

The inside of my hard top is "off white", don't know if this is by design or from age, but I'm going to paint it bright white, anybody think of any reason NOT to have it bright white?

I painted mine blue to match the interior in the front. Seemed more consistent in my mind, but it doesn't match exactly. I have considered spraying it exterior color the next time I paint on the truck, but the outside of my hardtop is already smoothed and body color.

I pondered installing automotive upholstery/ carpeting ..but was going to match the upholstery
