Hard Top Seams "Q"

I have noticed that the seams on my top are missing some pieces of a caulking type filler at the seams ,leaving it open to leak into where ?
Is there a certain type of sealer to put back in or do I just use silicone or caulking???

might could use seam sealer...like for tents and such...camping section at Walmart

Both my soft top had seams where the thread came lose. Me lovely wife sewed 'em up with Kevlar thread.
