On the hardtop, there is a cavity molded into it on the top driver side that is used for running wiring back to the dome light. If you pull the top off, where the top meets the cap is a hole that I assume was used to run the wiring. Does anyone know if this same cavity exists on the other side of the hardtop? It would be really useful if someone knew this... or had a spare top lying around that they could drill a hole into and check :D

I'm trying to do something different with interior lighting and if that exists on the passenger side it would be awseome

It's doubtful that same hole is on the passenger side BUT if you need a hole there just drill one. :deal:

I know the hole isn't there for sure. I don't mind drilling one, but I don't want to drill a hole there if the cavity isn't molded into the hardtop.

The hardtop only has a hole on the driver side with a cover plate. You could eaily enough do the same with the passenger side though.
