LMC sells the brackets and spacers needed to complete this.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I know Skyjacker sells a kit, but I can do w/o the religious pamphlet they attach to the installation instructions.
Skyjacker, and most other aftermarket companies, do offer dual shock brackets but nothing like the factory GM brackets which were optional shocks.

The factory quad brackets give you the option to run a slightly longer shock, which can be a good thing if you decide the 4-shock setup rides too harsh and you can remove the shorter shock.

Aftermarket brackets mounts another shock of the same length and part number side by side with the original positioned shock. Using these means you have to drill holes in the frame. Using the factory quad brackets means looking for 4 bolts, nuts, washers and bolting them on. The holes are already in the frames for these '81 - '91 frames.

I think I have what you need. Do you only need the 2 brackets? If so, I think I still have them. I will look tonite. If I have them I will give them to you, Just pay for shipping.

Is this the brackets you need?

you want factory when the aftermarket pic posted does the same thing . unless you need the factory to clear a shock body for some reason.

thay will both do the same thing.

Were mine factory? It came that way off the lot when I bought it brand new. It was sent to a shop for some custom paint and interior stuff, But It came off the lot that way. Maybe the custom shop did that. Dont remember.

aftermarket for yours via the pic posted.

I have the two upper brackets you need. I don't think I have the bottom bolt and spacer. Let me check. They do have some minor grinding marks from removing the rivets.

Jeff, yours are a Rancho dual shock kit that is no longer available. With that kit you used all the same shocks, with the factory quad shock the front and rear shocks are different lengths.

Back in '90 or '91, I went to the local GM stealership and ordered a pair of these quad shock brackets just to have.

Fast forward to today: I still have these brackets. They still have the stickers on them. I mounted them to a frame but never ran them. They still look exactly how I got them brand new.
