I run the stock bolt in everything. If I a needed a new I would consider a nice ARP or such

I use stock usually. My big block has one from Milodon, the stock one got lost in the garage somewhere.
For most builds, i use stock bolt, or hardware store grade 8's. In all my life, I've never had an issue with a crank bolt failure. some aftermarket bolts are longer, but many aftermarket cranks have deeper threads. GM cranks are only cut so far..
