Harmonic Balencer...
how do I tell if it has gone bad, well it make my V-belts wiggle to beat hell?
How much will a new one run me? Also just wondering what does at do and how does it do it?

Look at the rubber ring on the balancer.If there are any cracks or swelling it needs to be replaced.I just priced one at napa for $85.
Is your pully on the balancer made from 1 piece stamped steel?The later models are made from 2 pieces a steel connected with rubber.If that is bad it will make your belts vibrate bad.

Got a part #? My local Napa wasn't any help and the local dealer wants $185.
