Is it because it won't fit? To hard, other impossible challenges?
Googling it looks like the typical single sheer hinge design like most Jeeps use, this works for a smaller tire but big tires (35"+) tend to be heavy for the hinge design. What size tire are you running?

I picked one up for $200!
Yes it needs a huge vertical surface! From the bottom to the top of the hinge is 9" so it will either need to block the taillight or be mounted low. I picked up a huge farm bumper that I am thinking about modding to the Blazer then adding a low hanging tab to make it work and be centered on the truck..
