I cant use the factory style mechanical shifter in my trail truck because it binds so I have been looking into cable shifters. I saw the shifter that mounts to a factory chevy column that they used on the Ultimate K10 in petersons and really liked it. Its made by www.ididit.com and costs $124. I can probably afford that, but I'd rather not if there's any way I can make one myself. Anyone have any ideas? I'd really like to keep the factory column if at all possible. Thanks.

Willywanter did it with his truck, send him a pm

Yeah, i know he definetly did, i remember seeing it in his winter progress posts

Jason's t-case shifters are cable. I am working on my t-case cable shift setup using old cat loader hydrolic control cables. As for tranny the hot rod rags have em as previously mentioned
