just looking in to getting some one ton shafts for my build and im gonna be running a 203/for 205 with a hp 60 in the front...looking at getting some shafts soon and looking at all my options...had definiley seems to be a good one...1350 cv's and a 1410 yoke u joints be enough for 38.5 now and 42s in the future??

Go 1410 all the way if you can.

My rear HAD 1350 shaft held up fine in the rubicon after destroying my rear springs, ripping the traction bar off and then destroying my rear 1350 strap type yoke. The HAD was untouched, one of the caps was destroyed when the yoke went. Long story short if you have 14ff in the rear upgrade to the u-bolt style yoke right away.

Also running their front 42 degree CV on a 1410 with no problems, the 42 degree CV is a little on the large side though and is clustered up with the tripple stick shifters

The straps themselves are weak (they can just tear out), they don't hold up to being ground on rocks very well and the bolts have a tendency to come loose.

The reason they switched to straps is because mechanics would overtighten the u-bolts and crush the u-joint cap, causing the u-joint to wear out quickly. The strap can't crush the u-joint cap.

I have had the straps on my rear yoke come loose before and I was very lucky to catch it before it broke a bunch of stuff (yoke, driveshaft, whatever the driveshaft would have hit, etc.). I consider the straps to be the weak link in my drivetrain but they will be gone soon enough

Ditto on HAD. I have theirs front and back and they are very stout. I also went with the 42 degree and the 1410 up front.
