Has anyone tried the 1980 F#$d shock tower swap????Steve Fox!!!...HELP!!!!

...I have been looking all around for these towers....Ford wants $80 a piece for them...and all the junk yards here only have one ...(if any)...F-250's...I found one at one yard( but I did pick up a flat top right side knuckle though!!!) but it's the style that the shock bolts in from top of the tower!!!...Any help???????..I would like to do this swap and get rid of this double shock crap on my front end!!

Hey Clint,
You need to be specific with the part number when you call Ford.
1980 Ford F-250 Shock Towers
Part number E5TZ-18183-A
They quoted me $80 when I called w/o the part number!
I got both of mine for $30

I had absolutely no problem getting mine. I called the local
Ford dealer and told them I need 2 shock towers for a
1980 F-250.
The total with tax was like $28 bucks.
