Check out his thread in the Chevy forum on Pirate, it's not going so well. :rotfl:

Imo, Diy4x is the only vendor for this type of product. :wink1:

For sure! kert will be the only one to get my money when i do the swap.

Yeah DIY4X is awesome . Excellent service, Great products and Very fair prices.
And there shipping is better than anyone else I've dealt with they really are a great company.

Not only is Kert a vendor here, an awesome fabricator, and an all around stand-up guy, his product is cheaper. Is there any question here?

And there's adjustability built in to DIY4X's mounts where as those mounts although very nice looking only provide one way to use them

Bingo! Without the added adjustability you might as well cut off the factory hangers and swap sides - for free. (this is detailed in the 52" swap write up)

there are other ways to adjust your pinion angle that are better than relying on the spring hanger lol

but what if your pinion angle is already to high??? then this bracket could make it worse just saying thats not a plus for there bracket

thanks for argueing with me yellow ...i just want the facts not just someone trying to sell there product .....im ordering one up ....got my vote adjustable and lower price .......hmmmm gotta have one...

hey yellow im new to the building stuff so i wonder how to get my shackle right on the back of the front ...how would someone choose that

those look like total cheeseballs compared to DIY4X, get the good stuff with a long reputation for awesomeness.

also kert may be able to provide some direction on how you want to adress the pinion angle. give him a call, tell him CK5 sent ya!

biggest thing that scares me on virgina kit is ( lockwashers )

you need crimp nuts . i have seen lots of lockwashers spit out.

I'm not trying to argue or come off as a prick or even "sell" you on DIY4X stuff. I just trying to give you real reasons as to why I think one is better than the other .

The multiple mounting postions allow you to fine tune your shackle angle, run a longer spring, and allow some more adjustment in axle placement.

The Virgina 4x4 brackets look like ok pieces but they just dont offer the same kind of flexibility as DIY4X brackets. Also the frames are different . DIY4X offers the brackets to fit the frame differances

No worries, thats what this place is for!!

post some pictures and specs for your ride.

Also search here for "52 spring swap" you'll come up with lots off good Info
