That is a nice angle on the shackle. Hmmm, how bad do me want it? Man, I just got done painting these 52" springs and wrestling them in with my gimpy ass too...

Negative,
The "forward" hangers have been moved as far forward as possible, about 2.5 inches, maybe a little more. Just the next set of bolt holes forward of the stock position.

Then I used DIY4X's 7.25 inch rear "front" shackles in their stock location. I got about an inch before the spring contacts the frame. but I'll bet droop is going to on the epic scale!

Yeah it looks like thats just a by product of very flat springs.

Yeah, I keep telling the wife I will sell the axles out from under one of the parts trucks, but then I look at them with their big brown puppy eyes. How could I ever part with that...

Well, Boondock5 was gracious enough to make me a member out of the kindness of his heart without me asking. With that in mind, I'm willing to pay the membership fee now that we got the fightin' out of the way. Speaking of which, to any and all I have offended, my humble apologies. I was not having a good day the other day. Between trying to work in extreme Alabama heat that is just now starting to cook a little, my old injuries reminding me the whole time I should probably listen to my wife and sell everything and take a vacation from my problems, and trying to just give a simple opinion and getting frustrated over having to try and cover too many angles of debate at once, I blew it once again (I know this may come as a surprise to some of you out there, but I will admit I'm not always prince charming). This is also in addition to the fact I have cats living with dogs - a disaster waiting to happen.
In the future, I will do my best to step away from the computer and go for a swim or something when I get wound up. Hopefully this will be the one and only time any of you see "Ass-Hat Boy" at his finest.

Hey Matt my angle is not even close to that extreme and I have ALOT of droop. Hmmm maybe it is I will have to look, of course my 56s are now dang near into negative arch.
