I am looking at putting a 60 gal compressor in my garage and the one's at Lowes seem to be the best bang for the buck. 3.5hp, 60 gal, 220volt, 2 cyl. Oiled pump for $400. Putting out 11.7cfm @90psi.

Just wondering if anyone has used these and could comment on the quality.

I would have added a link, but can't seem to find it on their website anymore.

I have the 30 gal. 110v 5.7 cfm @ 90psi model. I'm happy with it. Got it because it's portable (somewhat) Now I wish I had the one your looking at. The quality looks good on them. I've had mine for a year now w/ no problems.

I have that Kobalt one. Compared to the 60gal Craftsman I used to have, after going through 2 pumps, it's a jewel. No problems what so ever. You probably couldn't spray a whole car but it runs all my grinders and sanders no problem.

Here is the compressor i bought. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs...0053&productId=100083906&N=10000003+90401+895

This is actually a campbell hausfeld compressor with home depot labeling.

I have the same Husky one in the shop. Its a workhorse. For $399, its worth every penny! I was into it for around $500 with wiring, plug, good water filter, fittings, etc. I have air over hydro bender and it uses a good amount of air. That compressor doesn't blink an eye.

The new ones are dual pump, and it fills from 100psi back to 135psi in about 2 minutes. I think its a 12cfm as well.

I have the 60 gallon kobalt one. I love it. It can keep up with everything that I do. I went from a 20 gallon 15 year old craftsman so anything would be better than that. I ended up with about $600 in mine by the time I wired it, plumbed it, and bought a in line filter and gauge.
