they suck!!! and pel off....

Dont waste your time onless you want to peel if off and redo it...

JUST GET HERCULINER...

Prep teh surface, and sand it, clean the metal with xylene, and apply!!!

Took me 8 hours total to prep, and clean, and coat, wait 3 hours and apply second coat!!!

One day's time and you never have to do it again!!!

Dont waste tiem and money on others!!! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

I think that I'm just going to do the Herculiner like I've wanted to for a while.

Thanks, Shane

I wanted an easier, les time consuming install but I want it to last a long time.. trustyk5 has had his herculined for years now nad no peeling!

You wont be sorry... do it as thick as you like!

Be sure to give it a full day to dry, and a week to cure.. it says cured in 1 day, but mine was still "soft" yet dry for a week... mainly cause I oput it on really thick!!!

ENJOY IT!!!

You wont be sorry! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Did one gallon work to cover the entire interior?
How many coats did you do?

Thanks Shane /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Has anyone used \"Rattleguard\" Spray on Bedliners?

I used the gallon that came in the kit and another quart... to do the back, the sides and over teh rail and the tailgate... I did it thick.... one light to medium coat and then a heavy one.. with a little more ....... quite thick and i like it!!!

I think it will take one gallon to do the front next.... so you could use 2 gallons to do the whole truck with a good coat...

Re: Has anyone used \"Rattleguard\" Spray on Bedliners?

my friend talks about how a bedliner on the interior would be heavy and make my lift sag a little how much weight do these liners ad and have you noticed a difference?

Re: Has anyone used \"Rattleguard\" Spray on Bedliners?

Check the weight of one of the cans ... it can't get any heavier than that

Re: Has anyone used \"Rattleguard\" Spray on Bedliners?

not to hijack, but just wondered if herculiner came in colors?

Re: Has anyone used \"Rattleguard\" Spray on Bedliners?

yeah get black.... looks the best... just like owning white tennis shoes.. does no good... buy black....

Does come in a few colors though.. and as far as the weight.. how much does wet carpet weigh.. more than the 15 pound can..... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Re: Has anyone used \"Rattleguard\" Spray on Bedliners?

I found that Herculiner stuff expensive up here in Canada. I just stripped the interior and sanded any rust spots, three coats of rust paint and two coats of undercoating. Never had a single problem.
