Some of my friends and I were out wheeling in the 4 foot deep snow and I broke a tranny mount, no big deal. Well, I went to change it today and the bolt that broke off is so damn tight or rusted(probably rusted) that I really think the not so easy out is gonna bust off inside there. Should I just get a half inch bit and drill clean through the tranny and run a long bolt down through it. I think it would work and probably save some time and scraped knuckles. Oh yeah, the list of everything that broke that day---1 motor mount, 1 tranny mount, 1 axle joint, 1 exhaust hanger, 1 receiver hitch & 1 head light. The last two go hand in hand!:haha:

hey man, Nice damage there!:wink1: I recently broke a trans mount too..

So, anyway, I would soak it in either PB blaster, or brake fluid and let it sit overnight, thats one place I would not want a bolt to break off...

I did just that, soaked it in PB Blaster and let her sit all night. I went out today and still couldn't get the damn thing to move:angry1:. I ended up drilling through the old bolt with progressively larger bits up to half inch. It is just big enough to get a long bolt through, that way if it happens again I can just put another bolt in or tap it for a Heli-coil. I did use a cut off wheel to make the top of the ear just flat enough so the bolt head isn't all funked up:grind:. Thanks for the input!
