Hatch parts?

Does any one know where I can get the part that goes on the end of the hatch handle?

your talking about the crank handle right?

No the handle for my 72 K/5. the one that opens the hatch, there is a flat part that goes on the end of the handle and the rods that connect to the flat part also.

Your going to have to search for used parts. You may need to buy a complete hatch. There seems to be several others looking for hatch parts right now without much luck.

Try Manes (816) 358-6745 Great Mom and Pop operation in Missouri . They keep that kind of stuff. Jimmy Carter truck parts has a used parts dept. If you can find it. I found it off of one of those parts search lists was a guy called Chevy Dave. Last summer he had 4or5 complete but broken. $50 each. His web has changed and I haven't been able to find him. I spent last summer looking for a side latch. Happy Huntin
