Like you all, I hate oil leaks!

4L80E with less then 50 miles on it.

Trans pan leaks, coming from the trans bolts & oil Temp Sensor. I understand that the gasket that came with the trans is designed to not overtighten the bolts.
I have a new Lube Locker gasket that I want to use?
Should I throw the Lube Locker gasket away and use one like the one I removed?

I need recommendations for a Tread Sealant for the Temp Sensor?

I want to apply Automatic Transmission Gasket Maker to the Lube Locker Gasket just for extra assurance against pan, & pan bolt leaks, but I understand I shouldn't need it with the new Lube Locker gasket that I want to use.

And what about the Temp Sensor?
What do you guys recommend for Thread Sealant?

I have never used a Lube Locker on a transmission. I have them on a D60 and 14bolt and they work great, no leaks.

put a dab of the liquid teflon on the temp sensor. I have a lube locker on my 700r4 it works well even when you use it on to different pans. That said the original GM gasket is one of the best. They do get old after a decade or so and need replacement.

Do not use any gasket maker, rtv, or any other sealant with either gasket.

Ok,
Liquid Teflon on the temp sensor & no sealant on the gasket.
Thank you!
