Have 6\" rear Skyjackers 1 3/8\" or 1 1/2\" bushings?

Steve,

I sent you a message using your websites comment section.

I just wanted to let you know that I'm ready to order:

GU38010
U8003
GU38003 or GU8002 depending on bushing size

Thanks,

Zepplin

Those bushing sizes you listed have nothing to do with the leaf springs themselves.

Those sizes you listed have to do with the shackle which bolts to the frame and holds the spring to it.

GM has different size shackle bushings to use.

The older trucks use the popular 1 1/2" i.d. shackle bushings.

'81 on up use the 1 3/8" i.d. shackle as their "common" size.

Be aware that K30's used three different size bushings!! /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif
They use either the 1 3/8", 1 1/2", or 1 3/4" i.d. bushings.

The best thing to do is to get the shackle and measure the hole, WITHOUT the bushing and sleeve which is pressed into the shackles hole.

Thanks K30.
I will go out and measure the size of the bushings.

A '74 should use the GU38002 kit, 1 1/2" shackle bushings. Always best to measure to be sure. Shipping replacement bushings around is a major pain for all involved.
Give us a call or with part #'s you can easily use our online form.
Thanks
