My buddy just bought a nice 69 pick up. When it rains water leaks on drivers and passenger side floor boards. Checked windshield no leaks. Seems to come from cowl area? Are there drains for the cowl area? Thanks for all replies.

Most likely the windshield frame is rusted out, and it is running down the A pillars. I believe it is also possible for the cowl to leak there. Pull off the cowl, and there are drain holes at the ends that tend to plug up with leaves and other crap.

<font color=blue>My golve box used to fill up with water after it rained. I have a small crack in the bottom my windsheild frame (covered by the cowl). I took the glove box out, mabye someday I'll fix the crack

Thanks for replies. Truck is rust free so I guess the cowl drains are plugged.
