Have you given your rig a name?

After I lifted my Jimmy, my wife referred to it as "Billy-Joe-JimBob, the redneck truck". That got shortened to JimBob after awhile.

I've always named the junk that hangs around awhile....as long as it has character, anyway.
 
When I first got mine and it was "moss olive" (read: pukey seafoam green) my older sister took one look at it and said "BERTHA"

My buddies all called it "The Beast".

I call it the "Blue Ox" because...well...its big and blue and my name is Paul ;)
 
My 90 K5 is named Rawhide, it was the first thing that popped in to my head when I drove it to work for the first time since being stuck on my motorcycle since Thanksgiving of 09.

If I remember right, the song went.. Rollin rollin rollin, got my balzer goin', it's off to work I'm rollin', I'm dry. Tickle me with a feather, bring on the nasty weather, got the defrost blowing on high....

It hasn't rained since :dunno: God does have a sense of humor.:bow:

Let the flaming begin.
 
My trucks name is Horton.

The crewcab will be named Clifford.

If you can't tell already my daughter names my trucks
 
The Colorado Crew named mine the "Moon-pie"

The burb is "burbillac" for caddy insides she will get. The crew cab I'm building will be "tug" or "tug boat" (haven't made my mind up on it yet) cuz I'm sure ill be called on more when she's done to pull people out. And my 82 silverado is "the other women" had her since high school and she still akickin.
 
The sub is the screen name started because it was big and morphed into the drink.

My bronco is PEPE from the romancing the stones movie.
 
The Blazer earned the name Krusty from all the krusty, rusty **** that falls into your eyes when you have to work underneath her.:haha:

mines called the The wheeler, but I had to change the name from white truck because I now have 3 white trucks..
 
I haven't named mine, but my wife calls it concubine. :o She asked me when I was going to sell it. I told her when I'm in old age and just about to kick the bucket, I'm going to launch it into space with me in the drivers seat and fly around the cosmos for all eternity.

My CrewCab is Bomber
My 71 SS396 Camaro is Josie
My wifes 81 Z28 is Freya

Names

My friends and family call my K5 Munster (because monster is scary to my 6 year old nephew). Afetr my last wheelin run my club has been calling her "Treekiller".
 
K5 is The Buzzard, because it's built with left over parts from dead trucks.
The 84 Camaro is the Ugly Car, it's several colors and kinda wrinkly.
The 89 is the Pretty Car
Julie's Grand is the Mommy Crawler
My Cherokee has a few names: The XJ, You Bitch or Daddy's Jeep.
 
Never named mine, but had a friend that called it the "Silveradobroncoblazer" (said really quick), because he could never remember what it was, so he just threw out all the things he was thinking.

Had a guy call it the deer killer once, kind of liked that...
 
Names are in my sig. "Dirty Girl" cause she likes to get dirty ;) "Hot Rod" because its got red wheels with chrome bullet lugnuts and will eventually be painted satin black and "Rambo" cause well, c'mon its a CUCV and Rambo is one of my favorite movies
