I’m looking for a set of headers, preferably shorties so they don’t have any excessive “hang down”, although I can’t find anyone who makes any for a one ton 90 V3500 Chevy with a big block (basically an 87 model year). I’ve found some that fit ¾ tons, and I wouldn’t think they’d be that different, but maybe there is interference with the hydro-boost or hydraulic clutch. Anyways, anyone have a good part number for a decent set of headers?

Why not use headers for a newer truck with a big block . If you use short headers , which are meant for to hook up to the factory exhaust , they should dump in the same spot anyway .

these are gibsons for 88-95 454's .

I've thought about it. I really don't care if they are factory location or not. I'll probably end up doing full exhaust back. My main concern is interference with clutch or hydroboost.
